Foreigners in Biblical Narrative who Speak of God

The Tanakh was written by, for, and about Jews. However, its stories contain many foreigners as well: some friends, some enemies, both individuals and groups, commoners and kings. In this course we will take a deeper look at many of these foreigners, and try to figure out how their presence, actions and words help express the theological messages embedded in the texts.
