Tova Ganzel specializes in prophetic literature in the context of the ancient Near East. Her recent research focuses on the Book of Ezekiel in its Babylonian setting and on temples in Second Temple literature. In addition, she studies the reception of modern biblical criticism in Jewish thought from the eighteenth century onward, as well as the role of women serving as Halakhic authorities.
