Speaker Profile Rabbi Ariel Konstantyn

Rabbi Ariel Konstantyn is the Founding Rabbi of The Tel Aviv Synagogue and Founding President of ME-Tzion – The Institute of Zionism and Jewish Heritage. The Tel Aviv Synagogue was founded to create a warm and welcoming spiritual home for Jews from all walks of life.  ME-Tzion’s mission is to instill a love and everlasting bond with the Land of Israel and the shared heritage of all Jews throughout the world through ME-Tzion’s innovative social, educational and cultural programming. In addition, Rabbi Ariel serves as a Rabbinic Consultant to Tzohar Rabbis and is the Corporate Rabbi and Liaison to Jewish Communities for Agel Enterprises.
 
Until his recent Aliyah to Israel, Rabbi Ariel Konstantyn served as the Associate Rabbi of The Hampton Synagogue and Principal of The Hampton Synagogue Hebrew School. During his 5 year tenure there, Rabbi Konstantyn also served as National Vice President of the Religious Zionists of America, served on the Founding Board of Directors of the Jewish Academy of Suffolk County, and was a member on the Boards of Directors of Peconic Bay Medical Center (PBMC) as well as the Family Counseling Service. He also was a member of the PBMC’s Medical Ethics Committee and the Greater Westhampton Beach Interfaith Clergy Council.  Rabbi Ariel and his wife, Cheryl, were the Guests of Honor at the 2004 Annual Gala Dinner of NISHMAT, the Jerusalem Center for Advanced Jewish Study for Women.  Currently, Rabbi Ariel Konstantyn serves on the Executive Committee of the Rabbinical Council of America, is a member of Tzohar, Beit Hillel, the New York Board of Rabbis and the American Physical Therapy Association.  He recently ran for the Knesset with the Am Shalem Party.
 
Prior to his tenure at The Hampton Synagogue, Rabbi Konstantyn served as the Rabbi of Congregation Mount Sinai in New Jersey. He received his Rabbinic Ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. He holds two baccalaureate degrees, one in Biology from Yeshiva University and the second in Physical Therapy from Hunter College. He also received a Masters Degree from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration.
 
Rabbi Ariel is renowned for his boundless energy and spirit, scholarly discourses and unconditional love for every Jew. His works on Jewish Thought have appeared in numerous publications and his dynamic, passionate and unique style of outreach has been featured in publications around the world from New York to Germany and Romania and the full spectrum of Israeli media.
