Speaker Profile Dr. Mark Schwartz

Dr. Mark Schwartz is Assistant Professor, Governance, Law and Ethic at Atkinson's School of Administrative Studies .  Previously, he was Acting Director of the Business Ethics Program at the Schulich School of Business, York University .  From 2000-2003, he was lecturer of business ethics in the Legal Studies Department at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania .  He received his PhD from the Schulich School of Business, York University in 1999, focusing on the subject of business ethics. He graduated from the Joint MBA/LLB Program at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business, York University in 1991.  Dr. Schwartz has published in a number of academic journals including the Journal of Business Ethics and Business Ethics Quarterly , and is a co-author of the textbook Business Ethics: Cases and Readings in Corporate Morality (McGraw Hill).  He has been quoted in several media outlets including The New York Times ; the Financial Times of London , and has consulted for a number of business firms and governments on business ethics-related matters.
