Rachel Kraus is the Director of Community Education at Kehilath Jeshurun, a Modern Orthodox synagogue on the Upper East Side of New York where she lectures, delivers sermons, teaches and facilitates informal educational programming together with her husband Daniel. Rachel also works full time as the Group Director of Global Brand Ventures for the Westfield Corporation where she leads strategy and brand partnerships for the World Trade Center redevelopment project as well as being on the leadership team for global expansion. Rachel completed a B.S. from Stern College majoring in marketing with a minor in music including extensive study at The Juilliard School. She completed her MBA at NYU with a concentration in finance, media, entertainment and technology. She has over a decade of experience in teaching informal Jewish education, has taught and lectured in Australia, Belarus, Israel and throughout the US. Rachel is a sought after teacher, lecturing across Manhattan for a variety of institutions and organizations. She also teaches for Matan, the Sadie Rennert Women’s Institute for Torah Studies, in the tri-state area, facilitating their world-renowned bat mitzvah program.
