Shayna Kravetz is a product of Winnipeg's modern Orthodox day school and
high school, followed by Stern College and the University of Manitoba.
She has been a lawyer, later a medical journalist, and for the past few
decades a teacher. All of which means that she is a compulsive
explainer. She has taught in the US and Canada, for programs including
Toronto's Mekorot and the internationally known Florence Melton Mini-School program,
and at shuls of every denominational stripe. Her goal in teaching is to
help her students to ask deeper questions. She acknowledges with gratitude
everyone she has ever learned from, starting with her parents and
continuing to every student here today.
