Tova Warburg Sinensky has served as the Yoetzet Halacha of Greater Philadelphia & South Jersey for four years, teaches a course on intimacy and Jewish law at Kohelet Yeshiva, and is the incoming Yoetzet Halacha of Young Israel of Toco Hills in Atlanta. Tova has been involved in the field of Jewish education for over a decade, and is the incoming Reflection Coach at Kohelet Yeshiva where she will coach teachers across grade levels and disciplines. She has taught Gemara, Halacha and Jewish Philosophy, mentored new teachers for the Jewish New Teacher Project, chaired the Gemara and Halacha departments at Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School and Kohelet Yeshiva, and served as Director of Professional Development at Ma’ayanot. She has also held the positions of in-house scholar-in-residence in Englewood, NJ, and Rebbetzin of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Synagogue. Tova has authored and edited a number of articles and resources in the fields of education and Taharat Hamishpacha, in addition to lecturing throughout the US and abroad. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Stern College Honors Program with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the Azrieli Graduate School, a certificate from Yeshiva University’s Graduate Program for Advanced Talmudic Studies, and is a graduate of Nishmat’s first U.S. Yoatzot Halacha cohort. She lives in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania with her husband and three children.
