Speaker Profile Dr. Tamra Wright

Dr. Tamra Wright is Director of Academic Studies and Educator Development at the London School of Jewish Studies. She specialises in contemporary Jewish philosophy and has published on Emmanuel Levinas, Martin Buber and Edmond Jabes. She is the author of The Twilight of Jewish Philosophy: Emmanuel Levinas' Ethics Hermeneutics (Routledge 1999). In addition to her academic work, Tamra runs the Susi Bradfield Women Educators' Fellowships, an innovative training programme for women who teach in Jewish adult education, as well as the women's Midrasha at LSJS.
