Rabbi Dr. Avraham Walfish has taught Bible, Talmud, and Jewish Thought in a broad variety of frameworks, including Herzog College, Pardes, Drisha, and Bar-Ilan University. Much of his published research addresses the ways in which the literary features of Mishnah and other rabbinic texts enhance their meanings and messages. His book Mishnaic Tapestries deals with the literary structures and meanings of Mishnah Berakhot and his doctoral dissertation analyzes the structure and meanings of Mishnah Rosh Hashanah.
