Speaker Profile Rabbi Dr. Zvi A. Yehuda

Rabbi Dr. Zvi A. Yehuda is Professor Emeritus of Jewish and Religious Studies at Cleveland Segal College. He also taught at Oberlin College, John
Carrol University, the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, and the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

A disciple of the late Hazon Ish, Rabbi Yehuda was ordained in Israel and received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Biblical and Rabbinic studies, at Yeshiva
University, New York.

Rabbi Yehuda teaches, writes and lectures on a wide range of literary, historical and current issues of Jewish life. He wrote the weekly column "Thought of the Week" for the Cleveland Jewish News. His book dealing with human suffering, Job: Ordeal, Defiance and Healing -- A Study Guide, was published in 1990 by Hadassah Education Department.

Presently residing in Florida, with his wife Hassia, Rabbi Dr. Zvi A. Yehuda delivers daily adult education classes at Boca Raton Synagogue and is available to officiate occasionally as guest lecturer and Scholar in Residence.
