Ben Zion Eliash is the Associate Dean at the Carmel Law School in Haifa, Israel. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Israel Youth and Law Program and an Executive Board Member of the Keir Foundation. Previously, Dr. Eliash has taught at Tel Aviv University School of Law, has served as a Member of the Israeli Board of the Advanced Legal Education Executive Committee and is a former Member of the Bnei Brak City Council. Having earned an LL.M. and Dr. Jur. from Hebrew University, he has been a visiting professor at Berkeley School of Law at University of California, Touro College School of Law, New York University School of Law, University of San Paulo and Temple Law School. His publications include "Body and Soul and Ownership Rights: The Jewish Law Perspective," TAU Studies in Law; and "To Leave or Not to Leave: The Good Samaritan in Jewish Law," Saint Louis University Law Journal.
