David Matlow is the owner of the world’s largest collection of Theodor Herzl memorabilia. He is a securities and private equity partner at Goodmans LLP. He was the co-chair of the 2015 annual campaign for the United Jewish Appeal and currently serves at the chair of the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto. He exhibits his collection and speaks about Herzl regularly, as he tries to inspire people to be a little like Herzl, and fulfill their dreams and use their skills and talents to help improve the future of the Jewish people and the Jewish homeland which he envisioned. He produced a documentary film called My Herzl which has been screened in festivals across North America.
