Born and raised in Mexico City, married to Rachel and father of Rina, Michal, David and Amichai. Learned in several Yeshivot in Israel and the Torat Emet Kolel in Mexico City. Learned at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem earning a BA in Political Science and an LLB at the North Colombian University. Was the assistant Rabbi and the head of Jewish studies at the Sepharadic Community in Cali Colombia, Senior Rabbi at the Ashkenazi Community in Barranquilla and Now is the Chief Rabbi of Barcelona.
