Speaker Profile Rabbi Joseph Polak

Rabbi Polak is a child survivor of the Westerbork and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps; he lost his father and thirty members of his family in the Holocaust. His writings have appeared in such distinguished journals as Commentary, Midstream and Tradition, and in many books and scholarly journals. He is the Director of the Florence and Chafetz Hillel House - Boston University and Chairman of the Halacha Committee of the Boston Bet Din.
