Becky Friedman works as Director of Operations at Associated Hebrew Schools, where she has previously served as Torah Specialist and is occasionally known as "Parsha Becky." She has participated in the Youth and Adult International Chidon HaTanachs, and teaches Chidon HaTanach at Associated, as well. A graduate of Midreshet Lindenbaum and of York University's Jewish Teacher Education Program, she holds degrees in Education and Professional Writing, along with an Advanced Certificate in Hebrew and Jewish Studies, and is currently a scholar in Ohr Torah Stone's International Halakhic Scholar's Program. Becky is also active in the Toronto Partnership Minyan. Becky is passionate about Torah study; she has a Youtube channel where she talks about the weekly Parsha, and is partway through her fourth cycle of learning Shas (Gemara).
