Speaker Profile Rabbi Yosef Blau

Rabbi Yosef Blau is the Mashgiach Ruchani, Director of Religious Guidance, at Yeshiva University. A graduate of Yeshiva College, he received his Master’s degree in Math at YU’s Belfer Graduate School and ordination from Rav Yosef Dov Soloveitchik. He was assistant principal at the Maimonides School, Brookline, Mass. and principal at the Hebrew Theological College, Skokie, Ill. and the Jewish Educational Center, Elizabeth, N.J. before coming to YU in 1977. He is a member of the executive board of the Orthodox Caucus, the executive commission of the Orthodox Forum and the rabbinic advisory board of YUSSR, students serving Soviet Jewry. He has lectured and taught Torah in countries across the globe.
