Rabbi Nathaniel Helfgot
Wednesdays beginning October 26
8:30pm Eastern
NO CLASS JUNE 14
This year long course will examine the first half of the book of Melakhim (Kings) using a literary-theological lens to uncover both the local meaning of each chapter and narrative and the overarching messages of this book full of highs and lows of Israelite history. We will engage in close readings of the narratives and make use of traditional and modern studies of this historical-theological sefer.
