Piyut and Parsha examines the literary structure, historical development, and thematic depth of Jewish liturgical poetry in dialogue with the weekly Torah portion. The series offers a scholarly lens on how piyutim have shaped and reflected Jewish thought across generations.

Dr. Moshe Sokolow

Dr. Moshe Sokolow is Associate Dean and holds the Fanya Gottesfeld-Heller Chair of Jewish Education at the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education, Yeshiva University.
