This series will study the books of Neviim Rishonim in sequence, starting at the beginning with Yehoshua.  This year long course will explore Yehoshua's leadership, new strategic, tactical and spiritual challenges facing the army of Israel as it entered the land, and the process by which the Jewish people established their permanent presence in the Land of Israel.

This session, we will look at chapters 5 through 8 of Joshua, studying the events of the battle of Jericho, the oath of Joshua, the violation by Achan, and Israel's first defeat at the battle of Ai. What went right? What went wrong? We will also journey up the mountains of Grizzim and Eival to experience the great Blessing and Curse ceremony. We will begin to explore both the strategic and tactical challenges the Israelite army faced, and how they address them, and gain greater insight into Joshua's leadership qualities and their relevance today!

Feel free to join at any time. All texts are translated!
