Selichot: Then and Now

In modern-day Israel, selichot have taken on new forms. In this mini-series we will examine a few of the more popular “traditional” Ashkenazicselichot and compare them with the “new” Israeli selichot, which are generally traditional Sephardic selichot that have spread and, in some Ashkenazic synagogues, replaced some old Ashkenazic favourites.
