Standing at Sinai (Part 2): Trembling at the Mountain - Encountering Divine Awe

God calls Moshe to come up the mountain and gives him instructions to pass on to the Jewish people to prepare themselves for revelation. Moshe goes up and down and prepares the people for what they are going to experience. What is the nature of this back and forth and how are the people prepared for this experience they are about to have?

Meet the speaker

Michal Porath-Zibman

Michal has been teaching Torah both formally and informally for the past 2 decades. She teaches Tanach, Chassidut, and Jewish Thought in the classroom at Midreshet Moriah and Machon Maayan Seminaries in Israel, and regularly guides student and adult groups on journeys to Poland. In the summers she works on the Head Staff of CAMP HASC in Upstate New York. She lives with her husband and 3 children in Nevei Daniel, Israel.
