e-TiM: Great Rabbinic Thinks: Rabbi Eliyahu David Rabinowitz Teomim, the Aderet
Rabbi Eliyahu David Rabinowitz Teomim, the Aderet
Rabbi Elijah David Rabinowitz-Teomim (the Aderet, 1843-1905), of Ponovezh, Mir, and Jerusalem, was one of the most fascinating rabbinic leaders of the late nineteenth century. Known by many as the father-in-law of Rav Kook, the Aderet left a memoir that gives us a unique glimpse into the East European rabbinic world.
