Jeremy England is a theoretical biophysicist who lives near Tel Aviv in Israel and is a visiting professor at Bar-Ilan University. Previously a physics professor at MIT, he now leads research at a start-up he co-founded, working at the nexus of AI and oncology. He has semicha from Rav Chaim Brovender, and enjoys studying topics at the intersection of Torah and scientific reasoning. His recent book, titled Every Life is On Fire, is about the burning bush, statistical physics, and the boundary between living and non-living matter.
