Speaker Profile J.J. Kimche

J.J. Kimche is the Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Religion at the University of Austin, Texas (UATX). He received his BA from Shalem College in Western Philosophy and Jewish Thought, and his PhD from Harvard University in Modern Jewish and European intellectual history. 
J.J. has taught courses in Western and Jewish ideas at various universities, Yeshivot, and other educational institutions. His popular writings have been published at the Wall Street Journal, First Things, and City Journal, and his first academic book was published in 2024 by Palgrave Macmillan.
He may be found discussing aspects of Jewish intellectual history with other scholars on the Podcast of Jewish Ideas, which he hosts.
