Rabbi Dani Ritholtz works at the Ramaz Upper School where he teaches Judaic Studies and is the Director of Israel Guidance Department and Sophomore Grade Dean. He has his B.A. in History from Yeshiva University, Rabbinic Ordination from Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, and an M.A. in Medieval Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. He published a book As a Ram Yearns for the Brook: A Journey of a Father and Son, about his father and his experiences of loss, community, and family.
