In the last forty years a growing number of rabbis and Jewish legal scholars have examined the contemporary relevance of the Noahide Laws. At the same time a growing number of individuals and groups around the world have created Noahide communities. This talk discusses the different approaches and emphases among those engaged in the Noahide Laws within the Jewish community and among the nations.

Meet the speaker

Dr. Olga Kirschbaum-Shirazki

Dr. Olga Kirschbaum-Shirazki grew up in Toronto. She has a PhD in modern European history from NYU. As a researcher and translator she has collaborated with numerous  authors and organizations on the topics of Jewish history, inter-religious encounters, the universal in Judaism, as well as Torah and the modern world.  She is also an editor of Tel Aviv Review of Books, an online review that presents the entire spectrum of views from and about Israeli culture, religion, and politics to an international audience
