From Glory to Gory: The Second Book of Melakhim

Rabbi Nathaniel Helfgot

Wednesdays at 8:30pm Eastern, beginning October 25

We will learn and examine the second book of Kings starting with the Elisha narratives and progressing to the final days of the northern kingdom and the exile to Assyria and beyond. We then will turn to the highs and lows of the last period of the Judean kingdom, including the potential chances we had to reverse the process of decline that ultimately culminated in the destruction of Jerusalem, the Temple and the exile of the people to Babylon.

Topics:

Tanach, Neviim, Melachim
