Professor Charles Taylor
One of the most important thinkers Canada has produced, Charles Taylor is that rare philosopher who attempts to put his ideas into practice. His writings have been translated into 20 languages, and have covered a range of subjects that include artificial intelligence, language, social behaviour, morality and multiculturalism. Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks
Jonathan Sacks was Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth from 1991 to 2013, the sixth incumbent since the role was formalised in 1845. Prior to that post, Rabbi Sacks was Principal of Jews' College, as well as rabbi of the Golders Green and Marble Arch synagogues.
