Dr. James A. Diamond

James A. Diamond, LL.M., PhD, is the Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Chair of Jewish Studies at the University of Waterloo His principal areas of research include biblical exegesis, medieval and modern Jewish thought and philosophy, Maimonides, and rabbinics. He has published widely on all areas of Jewish thought in many leading peer reviewed scholarly journals, such as Harvard Theological Review and the Journal of Religion. His books include Maimonides and the Hermeneutics of Concealment (SUNY Press), Converts, Heretics, and Lepers:
