Dr. Beni Gesundheit
Dr. Beni Gesundheit studied for five years at Yeshivat Har Etzion in Alon Shvut, Israel. He attended medical school in Switzerland, and did his residency in pediatrics at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. Dr. Gesundheit completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. He received his Ph.D. in bioethics from the University of Toronto (2004), with a dissertation on Jewish medical ethics. Rabbi Aaron E. Glatt, MD, MACP, FIDSA, FSHEA is the Associate Rabbi at the Young Israel of Woodmere. He is an international lecturer on medical ethics and Jewish law, has authored several hundred scientific journal articles, book chapters and presentations, including the book Visiting the Sick and Women in the Talmud, and is the Director of the Medical Halacha (Jewish Law) Commission of the Rabbinical Alliance of America.
