Speaker Profile Leora Levenstein

Leora Levenstein made Aliya from Montreal in 1977, age 13, with her parents and siblings. 
She studied at Horev high school served in the IDF as a teacher and has BA in criminology and an MA early childhood programs. 

Currently Leora is coordinator of programs in Tipat Chalav supporting mothers with post-partum depression. 
Her husband Michael, family doctor and Talmid Chacham from Toronto, passed away at age 60 in 2020, after a 3 year battle with cancer. 
Leora and Michael were blessed with six children and many grandchildren from age 5 months to 15 years.

Their youngest son Yonadav Hy"d fell in battle in Gaza on November 3, 2023 two months after his marriage to ybd"l Hadar.
