A three hour walking tour of the old neighbourhoods of Jerusalem with renowned Tour Guide and historian Shulie Mishkin

Tour these two neighbourhoods and hear all about Musrara: a neighbourhood on the seam between Israel and Jordan, Haredim and hipsters, Black and White.  HaNeviim: or Street of the Hospitals and the Consulates, as it was before it was named, was a cosmopolitan centre that has changed rapidly over the last few decades.
 
Participants will be notified of the meeting place before the tour: it will be a place in Central Jerusalem

Meet the speaker

Shulie Mishkin

Shulie Mishkin made Aliyah from New York with a Master's degree in Jewish History from Columbia University. After completing the Ministry of Tourism guide course in 1997, she began guiding professionally and has since taught and guided all ages, from toddlers to retirees. Her tours provide a complete picture of the land of Israel and Jewish heritage, with a strong reliance on sources ranging from the Bible to 19th century travelers' reports. Alongside her regular guide work, she teaches "tour and text" courses
