Shira holds a BA from Brandeis University in Fine Arts and Hebrew, and a Masters of Teaching degree from OISE (U of T). During the academic year Shira teaches at Netivot HaTorah in the resource department. In the summers she teaches visual art at Camp Moshava in Pennsylvania, with an emphasis on integrating art with Judaic themes. Shira has lived in Israel, England, and the US, and now resides in the Clanton Park neighbourhood with her husband and three children.
