Speaker Profile Dafna Siegman

Dafna Siegman is a freelance Jewish educator based in Jerusalem.  She is presently on faculty at Nishmat and Matan (Beit Shemesh Branch). Dafna has taught at Drisha Institute and other adult education institutions in the U.S. and Israel , and has served as a guest speaker in many communities in Israel and abroad.

An alumna of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship, Dafna has an MA from Columbia University in Jewish History, and has pursued doctoral work in Jewish History.

She served as Director of Curriculum Development for the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School Institute of the Hebrew University , and produced a revised and expanded edition of a Jewish History curriculum for adults.  Dafna has also served as a research consultant for the Shalem Center.
