Shmaya Hendel teaches as a shaliach at Bnei Akiva Schools and at the Zichron Dov Beit Midrash. He is the Shaliach Kehilla at Ayin L’Tzion Zichron Yisroel Congregation. Before relocating from Be’er Sheva to Thornhill with his wife, Efrat, and their four children, he worked in electrical engineering. He served in the Israeli Navy’s submarine unit.
