Tzohar

The Tzohar organization was established over ten years ago by a group of Religious-Zionist Modern-Orthodox Rabbis who seek to fashion the Jewish character of the State of Israel through dialogue and the placement of the mutual elements of identity above the widening rifts of Israeli society.  

Tzohars large base of volunteer Rabbis act to meet these goals through various unique initiatives. One such initiative is Wedding Project, in which rabbis guide secular Israeli couples through the ritual, spiritual and practical elements of getting married in Israel . A second program entitled Praying Together, offers comfortable and inspiring High Holiday prayer services open to all, in community centers all over Israel .
