Dr. Marc Shapiro
Marc B. Shapiro holds the Weinberg Chair in Judaic Studies at the University of Scranton. He is the author of Between the Yeshiva World
and Modern Orthodoxy: The Life and Works of Rabbi Jehiel Jacob
Weinberg and The Limits of Orthodox Theology: Maimonides' Thirteen
Principles Reappraised, both of which were National Jewish Book Award
Finalists. He is also the author of the recently published Saul
Lieberman and the Orthodox. His newest book, Studies in Maimonides and
His Interpreters will appear in 2007.
