Rabbi Shalom Schwartz was the Founding Director of Aish Toronto from 1981-1991. From 1991-2001 directed Aish’s Russian Program in Israel and the Former Soviet Union. In 2008, he launched Project Aseret, the Ten Commandments Project, which aims to establish the Ten Commandments as a central element of Israeli national identity. He also now does Leadership coaching for Aish Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Shalom and his wife Debbie have 7 children and 11 grandchildren.
